Great park. The managers seem to really care.
Awesome place. Have been coming for 7 consecutive years and going back again this year. The park itself is set back from the road so its very quite and tucked out of the way. The amenities are good and staff extremely friendly and courteous in what must be a very hectic time for them. The powered sites are of a good size and mostly flat and a mixture of concrete slabs and just grass. The camp kitchen is a good size and kept tidy and the shower and toilet facilities are good. The activities organised for the kids are good but could maybe use a refresh if there are other options available. The 10pm quiet time is fine however being a holiday period would be nice if this was pushed to either 10:30pm or 11pm. This place is highly recommended and will continue to come back with the family for hopefully many more years to come.
Every year I come to sapphire valley for 2 weeks and I love the area, kangaroos, DJ Gray and lots more fun!! i love this place and I have been counting down the months until I go to Merimbula!
We enjoyed a 3 night stay here after leaving another caravan park that we were unhappy with. John and Rhonda were excellent hosts and the park was extremely well maintained.We enjoyed an ensuite site which was perfect for our needs and very reasonably priced.The location of the park was very handy with only a short stroll to town. Plenty of wildlife with Roos, ducks and the odd wombat.I have no hesitation in recommending this park to anyone wanting to enjoy the best of what Merimbula has to offer.
